The LA-300 Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer has reached its obsolescence and end of support 26 years after its initial launch. We are remarkably proud of the LA-300’s longevity and its continued popularity among those who wanted a system that is compact, lightweight, portable, and affordable without any compromise to analytical quality. The LA-300 combines the widest dynamic size range (100 nanometers to 600 microns) with the smallest footprint for any laser diffraction analyzer. This was true in early years of product release and remains true close to three decades later.
The LA-300 comprises a long-lasting 650 nm laser diode with auto-alignment, 36 separate detection elements, 6 wide-angle silicon diode detectors, auto-drain (and auto-fill accessory add-on), real-time particle size feedback, and excellent system-to-system reproducibility. These notable mentions are only some of the many reasons why the LA-300 is the preferred analyzer in sectors such as dairy plants, soil and sediments, and paper chemicals across North America.
As we transition to spotlight the next generation Partica mini LA-350, we have retained the analyzer’s portability by keeping it the size of an A4 paper while enhancing the following key qualities:
