Presented by Adam M. Gillmore, PhD, HORIBA Instruments
The chronic global issue of potentially carcinogenic disinfection byproduct (DBP) levels in drinking water distribution systems is well-documented in extensive public records of violations of regulatory maximum contamination limits. The primary objective of this webinar is to demonstrate a new, simple method developed to rapidly and accurately predict DBP species’ concentrations. This patented method quantifies individual trihalomethanes (THMs) based solely on the ‘source water’ organic composition and water temperature using a purely optical determination.
